Join the Botanical Hiker, Heather Houskeeper, for a gentle guided walk that utilizes aspects of forest bathing alongside education about edible & medicinal plants, as well as nature journaling. The intention of this program is to cultivate a relationship with the land via interaction/connection with the plants. The program closes with a shared tea.

Participants go home with their own nature journal to continue their observations in the natural world. Nature journals, colored pencils, and pencils are provided.

Join the Botanical Hiker Heather Houskeeper for this introductory botany lesson! This program will cover how to key out a plant using Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide, followed by time outside utilizing our plant keys to identify the plants that you see.

Guide books and magnifying loupes will be provided for the class.

Spend the afternoon with us at our ponds and streams!  Learn about some of our amphibious friends as we gently catch and release these slimy critters.

Wear boots and plan on getting wet and muddy.

The Delaware Water Gap has quite a few waterfalls within the park that all flow into the Delaware River.

Join us for the morning as we check out some of the larger and well known falls in the park.

Learn some beginner techniques on how to frame a picture and then apply those skills on our trails.  Great for children and those starting from scratch.
