Conferences & Retreats

PEEC welcomes the opportunity to host programs, meetings, retreats, conferences, workshops, and camps.  PEEC works closely and cooperatively with all guests to ensure a shared and successful program.  

Renting PEEC Facilities

Main Education Building

The Main Education Building houses a large meeting area for presentations and gatherings, three classrooms, administrative offices, educational displays, and the PEEC store. Wi-Fi access is available in the Main Building and across much of the campus.

PEEC’s Bookstore

PEEC’s Bookstore offers a variety of books, guides, and resources.  Earth-friendly souvenirs, hats, t-shirts, bandanas, and water bottles are also available.

Dr. S. Marie Kuhnen Teaching Yurts

Teaching and/or meeting space is also available in PEEC’s 2 yurts. These round, canvas-sided, classroom-sized structures are available year-round with heat, electricity, and air conditioning. One PEEC yurt also contains a kitchenette and a Wi-Fi-enabled smart TV.

Dining Hall

The Dining Hall is a 3600 sq. ft. multi-purpose facility, seating 250 people. The facility was designed with many sustainable properties such as passive solar heating, natural ventilation methods, energy efficient insulation, day-lighting, and the use of recycled and non-toxic materials for construction.

Food Service

All meals and snacks are prepared on-site by a professional food service staff and served buffet style.  Coffee breaks, barbecues, and elegant buffet meals can be arranged to suit each group’s individual needs. 

 With prior notification, the dining hall staff is able to accommodate a variety of special dietary needs (allergies, vegetarian, vegan, minimal kosher, halal).   

Outdoor Meeting Venues

Our 38-acre campus is situated in the middle of the 77,000 acre Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, giving our guests access to an enormous outdoor classroom. 

PEEC has 6 hiking trails (including a stroller-friendly trail), two ponds for canoeing and fishing (with valid PA license), two team-building courses, two low Ropes course, and several pavilions. 

Sleeping Accommodations

PEEC’s guests may be housed in a number of overnight accommodations as described below.

Group Lodges

PEEC has two Group Lodges that comfortably sleep 44 people (22/wing).  Each wing has a private bedroom for 2 adults, a large handicap accessible bathroom with showers, and a communal area for bunk beds with camp-type mattresses.  Group Lodges meet ADA standards and sustainable materials were used in the design and construction of the lodges. 

Cabins

PEEC’s cabins comfortably sleep 6 – 12 people on bunk beds with camp-type mattresses. The cabins have heat, electricity, and private bathroom facilities.

Family Duplex Cabins

Four Family Duplex Cabins are located on PEEC’s lower campus and sleep up to 6 people on each side of the cabin.  Each side has 3 bunk beds and a private bathroom/shower.

Yurt Village & Bath House

PEEC’s yurts are circular, canvas-covered, 3-season, semi-permanent tents. PEEC has four yurts that sleep up to 8 guests each, and four larger yurts that sleep up to 12 guests each. Yurts are furnished with bunk beds, heat, electricity, and ceiling fans. A large stand-alone bathroom/shower facility is adjacent to the village.
