About PEEC’s Summer Day Camp
PEEC’s Summer Day Camp has helped campers explore and grow in their relationship with the outdoors.
Campers will experience everything PEEC has to offer by spending their summer hiking, playing games, and building a lifelong appreciation for the natural spaces around them in the heart of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Our trained camp staff are equipped with the expertise necessary to ensure campers are safe, satisfied, and learning by doing.
PEEC Summer Day Camp
Campers will experience everything PEEC has to offer by spending their summer hiking, playing games, and building a lifelong appreciation for the natural spaces around them in the heart of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.
PEEC’s 2026 Summer Day Camp runs from June 22 to August 14, Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 4:00pm.
Hot Lunch, Transportation from Milford, Before Care, and After Care are available at the time of registration for an additional charge.

June 22 – 26 Into the Woods
June 29 – July 3 Wild Around the World
This worldly week will have campers exploring wildlife across the globe and see their native neighbors from the comfort of PEEC’s close-to-home campus.
July 6 – 10 Geology Rocks!
Let’s dig into the wonders of the world beneath our feet! Break ground on paleontology, explore the layers of the earth, and rock out with friends in this week of earth-shattering camp fun.
July 13 – 17 EcoCrafters
Weave nature into your art with this week of crafty camp fun! Create nature-inspired art, learn new crafts and skills informed by nature, and unleash your inner artist with PEEC as the background.
July 20 – 24 From the Forest Floor
Take a bug’s eye view of the forest from the ground up! Look through the leaves at the wild world beneath through games, crafts, and hands-on exploration.
July 27 – 31 Wetland Wonders
Wade through the wetlands, learn about what swims around our waters, and interact with watery wildlife as we explore PEEC’s aquatic spaces!
August 3 – 7 Scales & Slime
Hop, step, and slither through a week of herpetological fun at PEEC! Join us in all things amphibian and reptile for a week of catching frogs and flipping logs.
August 10 – 14 Citizen Scientists
Grab your binoculars, magnifiers, and curiosity for this week of science in the field! Conduct real scientific research through observation, exploration, and classic camp fun.
PEEC Day Camp Age Group Descriptions
Age groups are determined by the grade campers will be entering the coming school year.
TADPOLE $250
Ages 4 – 5
Tadpoles focus on taking the first steps into the natural world with age-appropriate activities, guided exploration, and exposure to the environment around them.
POLLIWOG $250
Entering Grades 1 & 2
Polliwogs continue exploring new and unique aspects of nature and further develop their sense of curiosity through strategic crafts, games, and activities.
WET & SLIMY $250
Entering Grades 3 & 4
Wet & Slimies start to find the facts in their camp fun, expand their understanding of the wild world, and dive deeper into the “why?” behind it all with introductory science activities and adventures.
JUNIOR NATURALIST $275
Entering Grades 5 – 7
Junior Naturalists build the foundations for all things science and begin to identify the complexity of the environment around them. Campers can also enjoy a Thursday evening at PEEC with dinner over the campfire.
SENIOR NATURALIST $295
Entering Grades 8 – 10
Senior Naturalists live the life of a real natural scientist with the perfect balance of camp fun in the mix. Campers also enjoy an adventure abroad around the Delaware Water Gap Natural Recreation Area each Wednesday, and have the option of an overnight stay in PEEC’s cabins each Thursday.
Financial Aid & Camperships
Financial Aid and Camperships are offered to families in need to assist in providing campers with a summer camp experience. Both forms of assistance are awarded through an application and review process that allows us to determine awards based on need and availability.
