As of April 2, the NPS has closed the PEEC Trails & Campus for safety. The McDade Trail is still available for hiking at this time.

Help us celebrate the Earth!  There will be hands-on learning stations, interpretive hikes, conservation exhibits, crafts, food, music, and much more!  Pre-registration is NOT required.


NEW THIS YEAR: 1.4 mile Fun Run on Two Ponds Trail with Ready Set Run!


Featured Presenters:

  • Yoga with Meagen Keemen at 11am
  • Tai Chi with Richie Roche at 2pm
  • Animal Presentation by Pocono Wildlife Rehab Center

Guided Hikes every hour from 11am to 3pm

Please join Dr. Paul Kovalski, National Park volunteer at 12pm and 2pm, as we explore the woods and waters of the Poconos for an interactive hike. We will discover first-hand examples of environmental changes, introduction of exotic species, and habitat preservation and protection. From Silent Spring to the Tocks Island Dam, Earth Day is as relevant today as when it was created in 1970.

There will be Tie Dye, Face Painting, Canoeing, and so much more!
