Welcome 2021 Nature Day Camps!

About PEEC's Nature Adventure Camp

Our nature adventure camp is designed to help campers grow and explore while under the guidance of staff.  Our staff are instructors, interns, and counselors who are hired based on experience and given extensive training in childhood behavior, special needs, risk management, and other camp-related topics.  All PEEC staff members undergo background checks before working with children.

Our volunteer counselor position is a leadership program for young adults (14+ years old) interested in working at summer camp, changing children's lives, and gaining real-life job experience.  Because this is considered a training position and not a camper program, the applicant volunteer should be responsible for communication and following through with the application process.  Applications must be received by June 5th to be considered. Volunteer counselors are strongly recommended to attend summer camp open house and child abuse prevention training prior to assisting camp weeks.
